Prayer Ministry
The prime goal of prayer ministry is to equip, enable, and encourage Church leaders and members to pray continually, effectively and intentionally without ceasing in the bible way, while making prayer a part of everything they do. The first and most important component in developing a Church base prayer ministry is leadership that is passionate, dedicated and committed to prayer lifestyle.
What is the purpose of the prayer ministry?
The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the Church, Christian organizations and the Christian community. They remain open and responsive to the working of the Holy Spirit; praying that God’s love, divine providence, guidance and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people, for His Will be done and for His glory to be revealed.
How should I organize my prayer ministry?
Your prayer ministry should be organized with a General Coordinator, and one prayer team leader for every two or three appointed liaisons, and then be open to everyone in the church for joining the prayer ministry team. Joining the prayer ministry team should be encouraged and recommended to all church members, friends and the Christian community.
Does God need our prayer ministries?
God needed the ministry of Jesus today (Philippians 2:7-8, Hebrews 2:17, Hebrews 3:2, Hebrews 8:2, 6). God needs the ministry of preachers today (Romans 10:13-15, Ephesians 4:11-13). God need the ministries of men and women He has called to fulfill His plan of salvation! God needs our ministries because He has called us for His purpose; God needs the prayer ministry within the body of Christ for His own purpose and glory.
