Kingdom of God

Kingdom Pursuit

The pursuance of the Kingdom of God reveals the heart of God for man. Matthew 6:33, shows how God so desires to liberate man from a wasteful life pursuit which attains nothing. God commands everybody to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and has clearly revealed how He has tied access to all others things which man needs to the Kingdom of God. This also reveals how God exposes access to unlimited resources that guarantees mastery, liberty and dominion. We also see how openly hangs the keys to unlimited blessings and directing us to get it. On this, I conclude that God is good and has no evil intention. God preceded with exposing fruitless paths that guarantees nothing upon which many thread to access salvation, peace, joy, wealth, health and so on.

Now why would God command that we seek the Kingdom above our immediate needs? The wisdom of this lies in the command given to us in Matthew 6:33, and it reveals that to be a beneficiary of all other things which include abundance in health, prosperity, food, clothes etc. these things can and only be found in the Kingdom where God rule so we ought to become a citizen in order to benefit from that vision of unbreakable peace, joy, provision and more. Let’s look at it this way, you desire to live the American dream and for this to be possible if you are not an American, you ought to find your way into America in order to benefit from the good from the land. To put it in plain terms, the things you seek ranging from, healing, salvation, shelter, purpose, peace, deliverance and more only exist in a Kingdom that the one and only true God ruling and His name is Jesus Christ.

So how then do I have access the kingdom of God?

Just as every country has demands before allowing or accepting new citizens, you must comply to the demands of the Kingdom of God, failure to do this will leave you wandering and eventually perish. We approach the Kingdom of God as a blasphemer, adulterer, thief, liar and in so many identities which negates your access. You have transgressed the laws of God by how you lived and do not qualify to enter, dooming you to eternal condemnation but God in his mercy overruled that verdict by paying the price of your sin and dying on the cross for you. Jesus Christ, the son of God is your grace, mercy and salvation into the Kingdom of God, He was judged righteous and resurrected after 3 days to be united with you and I. Your faith in Jesus Christ guarantees your place in the Kingdom of God and access to the benefits thereof. Titus 3:5 puts it this way, ‘’he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit’’. Believing and accepting Jesus Christ is your salvation in the Kingdom of God.

After entering into the Kingdom of God by faith in Jesus Christ, how do I activate my access to the benefits of the kingdom of God? To activate your rights to unlimited provisions of the Kingdom is through the right received as a citizen, and as a citizen of the Kingdom, you ought to live like one and walk in His righteousness, holiness, love, grace, peace which is made possible by the gift of the Holy Spirit given to you when you were accepted to be a true pursuer of the kingdom of God.

So what then is the Kingdom of God? The kingdom of God is the manifestation of the glory of God where His children enjoy the safety of his abundant provisions as Jesus is the center of it all.

How then should you pursue the Kingdom of God? In the book of Mark 1:15, ‘’ And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.’’ So, repentance precedes the discovery of the Kingdom of God. The book of John puts it well, chapter 3, verse 5 says ‘’ Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.’’ You must be born of the water which is the word of God and of the Spirit thus The Holy Spirit. I beseech you to turn from worthless things and seek the kingdom of God. God bless you.
