Jesus came into this world, took on flesh and walk on this earth for over 30 years. He didn’t come to condemn man but came seeking to save the lost. Jesus was rejected and misunderstood. Jesus knows what it is to be lied upon, talked about, mistreated and betrayed. He knew his fate upon entering this world but he came anyway. He came to die that you may live.

Jesus came to save the morally good person, the kind person, the one who is generous to others and compassionate. He came to save the lesbian, homosexual, perverted, pimp, prostitute, murderer and child molester. He came to save the liar, drunkard, thief, adulterer and adulteress, and gambler. He came to save the gang leader, gang members, and terrorist. He came to save the uneducated, well educated, mentally ill, poor and rich. He came to save the unbeliever, the fool who says there is no God and the atheist. He came to save the witch, sorcerer, and warlock. He came to save the young and the old.

Jesus came to save all mankind. God does not put sin in different categories, stating which is greater or less. SIN: Anything that violates or goes against the word of God. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal. 5:16-21, KJV).

He hates sin and the penalty of sin is death. Jesus paid the penalty of sin that you may obtain eternal life through the shedding of his blood. The shedding of Jesus blood brought healing for the body, mind, spirit and soul. It brought deliverance from the penalty of sin. Jesus came, lived among the people, died for our sins and rose on the third day with the victory in his hands/ One day he is coming back again and those that believe him will be saved.

Jesus came that you may have abundant life. It is not God’s will that any should perish. He doesn’t care what sin is in your life for he has already made the way of escape for you. His word declares “choose life”Deu 30:19 This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live His plan of salvation is simple and free for all. He requires you to acknowledge you are a sinner who needs a savior.

ACKNOWLEDGE; is to admit to being true. Recognize that you cannot save yourself. God sent his son, Jesus to pay the penalty for sin and to secure your salvation. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.

Repent of your sin. It is a turning away from sin and turning to God. REPENT: To be godly sorrow means that I am sorry about the things that I have done and willing to change my ways. You can be sorry that you committed an act such as stealing or lying but you could only be sorry that you were caught. That is not godly sorrow. Godly sorrow is reaching the point that you do not want to continue doing the wrong that you did.

CONFESS: Admit, own up to, and reveal. When we confess our sins, we are agreeing with God that he is right and we are wrong. 1 John 1:9 -10 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us

.
Ok, you acknowledged your need for a savior; you repented and confessed your sins. Many are willing to do these first few steps but you must not stop there. You accomplish nothing if you are not willing to complete the process.

Forsake your sin. Forsake means to give up, step away from. FORSAKE; Quit, give up, leave entirely alone. You must be willing to forsake your sin. You must be willing to turn away from sin and turn to God. Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

BELIEVE: Rely on, to have faith and confidence in. You can believe with your head as well as with your heart. Believing alone if not enough for the bible teaches “that even the devils believe and tremble” James 2:19. Believing with your head and heart is to fully trust and accept as truth. But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6.

To receive salvation it is important that you both believe and confess that you believe. What are you confessing? Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. It is not possible to truly receive Jesus Christ as your savior, experience the joy of that moment, and not tell anyone what you have experience. You must believe that Jesus came, lived, died and was raised on the 3rd day according to the bible and is coming back again.

ACCEPT: Take, receive, welcome and claim. Salvation is a gift. It can not be earned by good works or by being a good moral person. Many stumble right here because they choose to believe “I am a good person, I abide by the law and treat people right, therefore, God will not send me to Hell”. Again, it is not by your works or your status in life. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. It is a gift. If I give you a gift you do not receive the benefit of that gift until you accept it, receive it. All of the works of the cross to obtain salvation for you is a gift but you must accept it to reap the benefits.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God gave his son, Jesus as the gift to the world, to you that you may receive salvation. To receive the gift of salvation you must acknowledge, repent, confess, forsake, believe, and accept Jesus. It is that simple.

Jesus came seeking the lost. He came for you. Yes, he died for you. He took all of your sins to the cross. It does not matter what sin you are in, what your lifestyle is because Jesus came to set you free. When you accept him as lord and savior through his shed blood and his holy word Jesus will make you clean on the inside. All your sins will be washed away and he will remember them no more. Jesus transforms your life and will make you a new person. You will no longer be the person that you were.
2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

How can someone live save and free from sin? This becomes a troublesome question for many and one that Satan will use to create doubt about your salvation. Let me give you an important key to help you with this. When you receive salvation, you are freed and delivered from the power of sin, the practice of sin, the punishment, and pain of sin. It means that you do not practice sin. Therefore, if you commit a sin you must QUICKLY REPENT of that sin, accept forgiveness, and move on. Confess 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I encourage you to read Psalms 32 and 51 daily to help you grow in this area.

SPEAK THE ANSWER NOT THE PROBLEM. THE ANSWER IS THE WORD OF GOD. Heavenly Father I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of a savior. I repent of my sins and ask that you forgive me. I confess my sins and forsake them. I believe you love me so much that you gave your son, Jesus to take my place and pay the penalty for my sins on Calvary. I ask you to come in my life. From this day forward I accept you as Lord and savior in my life. Help me to live for you and grow in faith daily that I will become stronger each day.
